Sorry, but What Everyone Thinks of Him Is Not Important

Love goes against all logic and reason. We don’t chose who we fall in love with. We can’t predict who will set our soul on fire. 

But when it happens, it’s everything. It changes us forever, it molds us into the people who we’re meant to become. Your heart wants what it wants, and it’s a force that no one can truly understand but you. 

When it comes to relationships, everyone will have an opinion. They’ll tell you to leave him, be single, find yourself. Friends and family will try to help, they will tell you that you deserve better, that you shouldn’t be with someone like him, that he’ll never change. But they don’t really know. You are the only one who really needs to feel that - and deep down if your heart doesn’t want it to end, maybe it’s for a reason.

Maybe it’s because he lifts you up higher than anyone can. Maybe he looks at you in a way that makes you forget that there was anything in your life that was ever bad. Maybe he’s a guy with many edges and facets and only you truly see the deepest and rawest version of him. Maybe you have a world of your own together; and it’s weird and complex and beautiful. Maybe you connect on a level that you've never experienced before. 

Maybe no matter what happens between you two, he is the one who is always there for you. He sees your most unguarded, vulnerable self, the you who you don’t like, but he adores. He is patient with you because he understands you’re a girl with many layers and he won’t let you push him away. He touches your face and your hair and your body with such passion and adoration that it makes your entire being melt.

He makes your walls came down that you spent years crafting, and that is everything because it will change you, it will change your life for the better.  

Maybe he is the one worth fighting for. Maybe he is the one worth being patient for. Only your heart knows. As the quote goes, everybody is going to hurt you: you just gotta find the ones worth suffering for. The truth is, when it comes to your relationship, you know best. Other people will always think they do, but you have to follow your heart because it has its reasons of which reason knows nothing. 

You will always fight with the people you love, it’s not always going to be easy. The course of true love never did run smooth and we will all make mistakes. When we’re in love there are intense emotions that makes us do and say stupid things; there are fireworks that can easily combust. But when someone touches your heart, and you can't get over them, it is for a greater purpose.

It is always worth fighting for. It is always worth another chance. In the end, the only thing that you will regret is not trying again and listening to others that aren’t in your relationship. Follow your heart, and I promise you you can’t go wrong.
