What you don’t understand is nothing that’s worthwhile is ever easy.
You loved your ex more than you have ever loved anyone - but falling in love with someone should never result in falling out of love with yourself.
But the bottom line is, I don’t care what the reason was. I’m done hearing your excuses.
Most importantly, you are falling back in love with yourself. You are taking your life back from what broke you.
You did the hardest break-up that your heart will ever have to endure. You need to understand how brave you are.
You just don’t feel the need to go out of your way to be fake nice for people to accept or like you.
I’m not talking about the men. I’m talking about the douchelords - the guy that demonstrates all the qualities of being a douche so well, he could in fact be a deity among douches.
If someone is appearing thoughtless, they are not thinking about you. It’s not complicated.
You are not anyone’s “almost,” option or booty call. You are not a convenience, temporary satisfaction or an obligation.
The entirety of your being is a conundrum.
Ironically, my anxiety also keeps me moving forward.
